Chat therapy is for anyone who seeks psychological counseling and enjoys communicating through text. It can help with a variety of topics, such as:

  • Anxiety symptoms

  • Feelings of depression

Chat therapy offers an approachable, flexible and personal way to work on your mental well-being. The written nature gives you the space to carefully articulate your thoughts and read back the conversations later. This can be ideal for people who prefer not to receive face-to-face or digital therapy (yet) for some reason or have a need for even more flexibility regarding scheduling sessions.​

If you have registered for online chat therapy via email or the registration form, I will first get in touch with you. During this initial contact, we will discuss your needs and determine together whether chat therapy is the right form of support for you. This helps clarify what you need and how I can best guide you.

Only once we both agree will we schedule a start date together. This ensures that the treatment aligns well with your preferences and goals.

Phase 2: Chat therapy​​

The essence of online chat therapy lies in sessions that typically last 30 to 45 minutes. However, depending on your needs, the conversations can be shorter or longer.

Thanks to the flexibility of this medium, therapy can be tailored to fit your schedule and personal preferences. Whether it’s an in-depth discussion or a brief consultation, chat therapy offers an accessible and efficient way to work on your mental well-being.​​

Phase 3: Completion and maintenance

Online chat therapy concludes once clear tools and insights have been provided to address your specific concerns. This marks an important milestone where you can move forward independently with the strategies you’ve gained.

Additionally, maintenance sessions remain an option. These sessions can be used to revisit previous tools, discuss new situations, or evaluate your progress. This way, you continue to have access to support whenever needed.
